Art and Design - Our Department
The Art & Design Department consists of two classrooms.
In S1/2 the department aims to broaden students’ experience of the subject by developing and building up skills and techniques.
This is continued in the Intermediate level course in S3 and S4 where students are also encouraged to become more independent and resourceful in their approach.
In S5 and S6 students are offered Intermediate 2, Higher and Advanced Higher courses. To be successful requires self-motivation, commitment and application.
If these qualities are applied the subject can be personally rewarding, satisfying and enjoyable.
