Teacher Blogs Overview

What is a Blog? Well, a blog is a type of website that makes it easy for anyone to publish information on the web.  Blogs are a shortcut to setting up a professional website in a very short period of time and as a school we have established a number of teacher blogs to help parents support their child’s learning at home. Blogs hold a variety of important course information and additional study resources which can be accessed the whole year round and are particularly useful in preparation for course assessments, including NABs, and external SQA examinations. Please refer to the school’s assessment calendar to help plan your study preparation. Departments which have not got a blog will include course information and study materials either on their faculty space of the school website or will be contained within GLOW.

GLOW is a web based network across Scottish schools, which functions in the way blogs do as described above. An additional benefit of this network is that it allows teachers to create and share resources across the country.
